It rains here in fast, hard bursts and then clears. But when a front parks itself over the coast for the day, there's plenty to fill the hours without getting wet.

Texas State Aquarium (Corpus Christi, ~25 min) — the obvious play. Plan on 3–4 hours.

USS Lexington (~30 min) — mostly indoor, kids burn off energy climbing.

Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History — small but well-done; good for ages 5–12.
